Bilangan tingkat (Ordinal numbers) adalah bilangan atau angka yang digunakan untuk menjelaskan posisi, urutan atau tingkatan. Dalam penggunaannya ordinal numbers diawali dengan kata 'the' 

1^st = the first /dhə fə:rst/ : pertama

2^nd = the second / dhə sekənd/ : kedua

3^rd = the third / dhə thə:rd/ : ketiga

4^th = the fourth / dhə fo:rth/ : keempat

5^th = the fifth / dhə fifth/ : kelima

6^th = the sixth / dhə siksth/ : keenam

7^th = the seventh / dhə sevənth/ : ketujuh

8^th = the eighth /dhi eith/ : kedelapan

9^th = the ninth / dhə ninth/ : kesembilan

10^th = the tenth / dhə tenth/ : kesepuluh

contoh :

The first class = kelas satu (pertama)
